Hi Everyone! I have returned from Parris Island to
say OH MY! My hat's off to all of you who have gone through any type of military
training. I had the opportunity to speak to some of the young female Marines
while at the airport and to listen to them talk about their experience is breath
taking. You heard some say I would never do this again to oh yea let's do it. My
son looks awesome in his military uniform. We took him out for lunch on the way
home and we were all staring at him and he didn't even realize we were. He was
so conditioned to zone things out that we all could help but keep eyes on him.
Manners- are impeccable. I am not use to someone saying yes Ma'am. I heard that
a lot. I wish I was as good as Kenny to describe everything that we took in and
saw in these young people. Oh I have a new future daughter-in-law, she was
proposed to on the parade deck and of course she accepted.
